League of Legends Lecture

League of Legends Lecture is an opportunity to explore a popular video game through a variety of lenses: gameplay, eSports, and psychology. In class, students will analyze professional-level play and practice applying that analysis to their own gaming through weekly homework assignments.

Before the millions of players, billions in revenue, and massive esports scene that now spans the globe, League of Legends was just a game in a prototype state. In this chapter, Jew and a small crew of interns and artists often spent their time playing other games as they waited for their work to catch up. One day, one of their team leads caught on, and told them they had to play League every day. They did, begrudgingly at first.

League of Legends is a complex game with many moving parts. Whether you want to improve your KDA or break into the competitive eSports scene, it is important to take the time to learn the fundamental aspects of the game.
