In the Early Learning Centres, child care professionals offer safe, high quality child development and education. They understand that children’s first experiences are vital and lay the foundation for a lifetime of success.

The provincial Government’s Action Plan includes new investments in child care and early learning to improve access for children who require space, increase quality, and help ensure that the system is responsive to families and the needs of children.

The Return to Early Childhood Education Grant provides funding for Level 3 Early Childhood Educators who work with preschool children (age 0-school entry) in licensed early learning and child care centres. The Special Needs Grant supports the inclusion of children with special needs in licensed early learning and child care settings.
