Glutathione Injection

Often referred to as the mother of all antioxidants, glutathione is naturally produced by our bodies in high concentrations. It is found in many fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, garlic, avocados, parsley, and squash. Glutathione helps protect the body from free radicals by removing them, and it is also very effective in lightening skin. It is most commonly administered by intravenous injection. Taking glutathione supplements orally cannot be reliably absorbed through the digestive system, so this injection method bypasses the stomach and delivers the glutathione directly into the bloodstream.

As a powerful antioxidant, glutathione detoxifies the body by making fat-soluble toxins water soluble so they can be excreted by the liver, lungs, and intestines. It can also convert certain toxins into mercapturic acid, which is then excreted in the urine. Glutathione can also reduce oxidative stress on the body, especially in autoimmune diseases like lupus and celiac disease that cause severe inflammation.

Glutathione can be paired with other vitamins to enhance its effects and give you the best results. Vitamin C is a great partner as it can help protect glutathione from free radicals and re-oxidize it, extending its lifecycle and keeping it active in the body longer. Another great partner is Biotin, which promotes cell growth and thickening of hair and nails. This pair can give you the glowy, shiny appearance that many people desire. The injection itself is quite simple and feels very similar to getting a vaccine shot. You may experience some bruising, which can be reduced by icing the area after treatment. Otherwise, you should be able to return back to your regular activities without any downtime or medication. Glutathione Injection
