The ruqyah sheet contains several ayat from the Qur’an and saheeh hadith that are known for protection against evil eye, black magic and sihr. When recited over a person, it purifies them from all types of evil spirits and afflictions. It also protects them from being harmed by other people. The recitation of the ayat energizes the bloodstream and strengthens the immune system to combat illness, sickness and afflictions.

During the process of performing ruqyah, a person should fully concentrate on the recitations and understand their meaning. They should also have a firm belief that Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) is the cure for everything. This is because if you do not believe in the power of the ayat then they will not work.

It is important for the afflicted person to continue to perform the morning and evening adhkar even after they are cured of their problems. A person will remain exposed to the evils of the jinn and black magic if they neglect these adhkar.

Another method of performing ruqyah is by blowing into a glass or jug of water. This is a more convenient option because it can be done anywhere, at any time. The water that is blown into can then be consumed or used for washing.
